Feel The Off Beat

Getting the bounce back in to the flavor of Zapp’s chips this campaign focused on the original New Orleans flavors of the chips showcasing NOLA in all its wonder and mysticism.

For this campaign, I was responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering a suite of social media assets that not only exceeded performance benchmarks but also stayed true to the brand’s identity. The creative direction centered on highlighting the brand’s long-standing tradition, while ensuring the visuals aligned with its modern, sleek aesthetic and quietly confident, understated persona.

I developed a cohesive set of assets tailored for multiple platforms, each optimized for engagement while maintaining consistency across channels. The design language incorporated subtle nods to the brand’s heritage—through typography, tone, and visual motifs—while balancing minimalism and refinement to reflect its contemporary appeal. Careful attention was paid to pacing, motion, and composition in order to resonate with the audience without overwhelming them.

The campaign ultimately outperformed previous benchmarks, generating stronger engagement rates and reinforcing the brand’s reputation. This success underscored the effectiveness of blending storytelling and design strategy to honor tradition while advancing a forward-looking identity.
